Cheltenham is renown for its parks, green spaces and tree-lined roads which means walks and cycle rides are a joy

Self-catering rooms

We have six rooms in our serviced self-catering accommodation. You can see photos of the various rooms on the left of the pages of this website. For example, a photo of an en-suite room is on the Prices page.

We may well be able to provide you with a room on a self-catering basis. This type of accommodation will particularly suit young professionals, international students and interns (people on internships) who enjoy living in a house share. The accommodation is serviced and managed ensuring clean, comfortable and convenient living for all. You have use of a nice kitchen, utility room, dining room and garden.

The minimum stay period is currently set at 12 weeks. This gives everyone staying opportunity to get to know each other and enjoy the experience of sharing the common facilities.

Availability

We have one double room available from August 22nd 2017. Please use the Contact page to tell us your accommodation requirement.

What our rooms are like

We have two types of rooms - pleasant singles and modern doubles. The doubles are with en-suite shower room and view of the Cotswold Hills. The singles have shared bathroom on the same floor. There are two doubles and three singles.

The rooms are well furnished and comfortable. Each room has good hanging space, convenient chest of drawers and a writing table which is suitable also as a computer desk. We also provide each room with a laundry basket and a towel rack. The rooms have good lighting and there's central heating for the colder months of the year.

Our rooms have internet access. Internet access is via WiFi (WLAN). Of course, you will need to bring your laptop, smartphone or notebook computer to take advantage of this.

Serviced

"Serviced" means that the communal areas of the house - namely, the bathroom, living room and dining room - are cleaned for you to ensure the house is a clean and tidy living environment for everyone to enjoy. Of course, you will have to clean up after yourself in the kitchen and dining room. Bed linen is provided or you can use your own. Laundry facilities are available in the house.

Internet and utility bills are included in the rent. The house has central heating and this is regulated in the Autumn through to Spring months to give a comfortable living temperature at convenient times of the day.

Our rooms, then, provide a form of self-catering accommodation that has distinct advantages over the regular way of renting a room. You know with us that your main living bills are all covered and you are assured of clean, tidy and homely surroundings at all times.

Friendly House Share

Our rooms are in a house share - you will be sharing the house with other people of a similar age and set of interests. There's a friendly atmosphere in the house. You'll find your housemates are welcoming when you arrive and ready to chat when you meet up with them in the kitchen or living room.

Some people in the house have been there quite awhile and they will be happy to share their knowledge of where the best local shops and facilities are.

Location

Our home is in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England and is conveniently located for getting to most study places (Inlingua, Gloucestershire College, University of Gloucestershire campus) and many of the town's larger work places. It is also convenient for the railway station and the town centre. Access to the M5 is easy from here. We are on the West side of Cheltenham.

Accommodation condition

Accommodation is provided on the understanding that you are either on a full time study course, have a short term contract locally, have a new job in the area or are on a work experience such as an internship.

We do not require a security deposit. However, your room booking is only confirmed once we receive the first week's rent. We do not require references. However, we do vet everyone wanting to stay. We do this by asking you a few questions designed to assess how they might get on in the social setting of a house where 5 people live and share the kitchen and communal areas.
